    his listing is for a (Bobby) Dukoff "SUPER POWER CHAMBER" mouthpiece for tenor saxophone. This is an older one, with "MIAMI, FLORIDA" stamped on the shank. The Miami era Dukoffs were produced from the early 1970's through the early 90's, so this piece was made somewhere in that range, but it would be impossible to say exactly when.
    This mouthpiece has been expertly refaced by Tommy Occhiuto, a highly respected, and in-demand mouthpiece refacer from the Bay area. I had been hearing great things about Tommy's work for a while, and finally decided to send him some pieces to work on. Suffice it to say, I am thoroughly impressed! He turned what was a dud into a screaming player! His work is very cleanly done, with perfectly symmetrical side rails and tip. The response is greatly improved while keeping with the overall Dukoff vibe (ie. bright, focused, and edgy). The tip opening was kept at spec (D6 = .095").
    This mouthpiece is in excellent condition. The tip, table, and rails are perfectly smooth. There is just a hint of tooth wear on the bite plate, but certainly nothing that requires repair. I would recommend using a cushion on it just to prevent any additional wear. This piece has been cleaned/sanitized.
